To promote the benefits of urban agriculture, the Agricultural Technology Center of Busan Metropolitan City will hold the 7th Urban Agriculture Exhibition from March 24 until 27 at BEXCO, Haeundae.
A variety of experiential booths on farming, traditional food and culture, gardening and eateries, and exhibition booths related to urban agriculture, including the design of rooftop vegetable gardens, a home gardening contest, agriculture-related photography, and wild flowers, will provide plenty of interest for visitors.
Visitors can purchase fresh spring vegetables at farmers’ markets, while home gardening tools, seeds, soil and pots will also be on sale.
The chairperson of the exhibition committee said, “This year’s exhibition will provide a chance to promote urban agriculture to citizens seeking a pleasant farming experience and to expand the possibility and future of agriculture to urban dwellers.
Admission is 3,000 won and children of kindergarten age are free. Opening hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
