BusanCity signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) on March 8, 2011 at BusanCity Hall in efforts to attract German companies here.
Prior to this MOU, BusanCity and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea (EUCCK) signed a MOU for the attraction of European firms last year.
Through this MOU, the KGCCI will support the attraction of German companies to Busan and BusanCity will work together with them to solve any difficulties faced by Busan-based German firms.
The KGCCI was established in 1981 to advance economic relations between Korea and Germany and, with over 500 member companies, is the second largest foreign chamber of commerce and industry after the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM).
