Busan appoints global real-estate agencies for foreigners

As part of the city’s policy on the advancement of the real-estate market, 37 Busan-based real-estate agencies applied as global real-estate agencies last October. After documentation review and interviews to test their language ability, 11 agencies offering services in English and 7 agencies in Japanese were each designated as a ‘global real-estate agency’. These businesses will provide all real-estate related works for foreigners in that language.
The City plans to expand the project at the end of the year. Other real-estate agencies that wish to participate in the program can apply for it from September through October at the appropriate Gu/Gun office and the final selection will be made in November.
