In order to boost medical tourism in the Busan region, Busan City opened the ‘Seomyeon Medical Tourist Information Center’ in front of Inje Medical Center in Bujeon-dong, at 785 Gaya-daero, Busanjin-gu, on February 9, 2011.

The medical tourist information center provides comprehensive information on medical services at hospitals in Busan for domestic and foreign medical tourists.

The medical tourist information center is open from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. all year round, and is staffed by English, Chinese and Japanese speaking medical tourist guides.

In addition, the City plans to establish the Seomyeon Medical Street around Lotte Hotel with a total investment of 3 billion won. Thanks to the city’s beautiful natural resources, its high-quality medical infrastructure and its variety of exciting international events, Busan has a good chance of developing into a medical hub in Northeast Asia.
