Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute will run ‘2011 Family Experience Events’ every third Sunday of each month from March through October. The first event is scheduled to be held on Sunday, March 20 at 1 p.m.
Anyone, including teenagers, families and hikers, who visit the Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute on that day can enjoy the following programs.
Making pottery
Making sotdae*
Traditional Korean tea ceremony experience
Sports Climbing at Hae o-reum (Rising Sun) Artificial Rock Climbing Walls
Observation of the sun and stars at the astronomy observatory
Reservations are not necessary. All programs are free of charge and the parking fee is 2,000 won.
An official of the Youth Center said, “We strive to provide a fun experience to all visitors. We hope that many people will come to the Center this Sunday and enjoy the various activities in the beautiful natural setting here.”
