World Korean Business Convention to be held in Busan in October

The 5th World Korean Business Convention will be held at BEXCO in Busan on Oct. 31 for a three-day run.

The Overseas Koreans Foundation, the organizer of the event, said on May 15 that the 5th convention would invite Korean businesspeople, especially those engaging in food and restaurant businesses, from all over the world, to globalize Korean foods and create a global network of Korean entrepreneurs.

Chung Jin-chul, chairman of Royal IMAX in Los Angeles, was appointed president of the 5th World Korean Business Convention.

Those hoping to participate in the event must submit an application through the Internet site (www.hansang.net) between April 1 and July 31.
