Free Busan Port Boat Tour

March 3, 2006, Busan, Korea - Busan Port Authority (BPA) said it will provide a free boat tour of Busan Port to citizens on every Saturday from March.
BPA added that the free boat tour of the largest port in Korea will be an opportunity for citizens including foreigners in Korea to acknowledge the importance of Busan Port playing significant role to boost local economy.
BPA purchased Busan Port Tour Boat, Sae Nu Ri, at 1 million U.S dollars last year in order to publicize Busan Port to those visiting Busan during the APEC SUMMIT. The tour boat played important role to promote Busan Port to those from APEC participating countries, business men and press from home and abroad.
The tour boat has the capacity to accommodate 70 people and it has the speed of up to 27 knots per hour.
An official from BPA said that if many people show keen interests in boarding Sae Nu Ri, the numbers to operate the free boat tour of Busan Port will be increased.
