Spring Festivals to Be Held in April

Festivals featuring locally grown foods will be held throughout the month of April in Busan. The 14^th Daejeo Tomato Festival, which offers visitors a taste of freshly harvested tomatoes, will take place from April 5 - 6 at Gangseo Sports Park.

The 18^th Gijang Anchovy Festival, famous for its spring anchovies, will also take place from April 24 - 27 at Daebyeon harbor in Gijang. Visitors will be treated to savory anchovy dishes along with being able to purchase fishery products at reasonable prices. A variety of side events are also scheduled to be held.

At Daehang Port on Gadeok-do Island, the 10^th Gadeok Mullet Festival will be held from April 25 - 26. Those attending are encouraged to taste the complimentary foods provided and take part in the experience of catching a mullet.
