Bicycle Riding Festival to Be Held on Gwangan Bridge May 25

The Bicycle Riding Festival, originally scheduled for April 20, has been rescheduled for May 25 due to tragic ferry accident.
The 6th Busan MBC Bike Festival hosted by Busan MBC and supported by Hwaseung Group and Busan Metropolitan City will be held on May 25, 2014.
The ride will begin at Daecheon Elementary School in Haeundae at 9 a.m. on May 25.
The course will cover 15 km along the following route: Daecheon Elementary School → Gwangan Bridge (upper leve) → Suyeong River Toll Gate → Gwangan Bridge (upper level) → Daecheon Elementary School.
Riders are expected to complete the course within one hour and 30 minutes. The admission fee is 5,000 won with participation limited to 2,000 people on a first come, first served basis. Those who can safely ride a bike are eligible to participate in the festival. Participants are required to bring their own bike and helmet.
