KOICA opens its Busan branch

The Busan branch of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), which helps the global community, opened on May 20.

 

KOICA is a government agency under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aimed at helping developing countries by providing grant aid and technical cooperation. It was established in 1991, and currently, there are 28 branches.

 

The Busan branch will conduct various programs including participation of corporations and other experts from Busan/Gyeongnam Region overseas volunteer programs, recruiting overseas volunteers, public participation in aid projects, civil and government cooperation initiatives, and support activities through international organizations.
