The Busan-Jeju car ferry resumed operation on April 19th. The operation was halted at the end of May 2012.
Two car ferries travel from Busan to Jeju on the following schedule
Route: Busan ↔ Jeju
Car Ferries: Seokyung Paradise (began operating April 19) and Seokyung Island (began operating April 23)
Seokyung Paradise (6,626 tons, 613-passenger and 300-car capacity)
Busan (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 pm ) → Jeju (the next day 6:00 am)
Jeju (6:30 am) → Busan (7:30 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
Seokyung Island (5,223 tons, 880-passenger and 250-car capacity)
Busan (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 7:00 pm ) → Jeju (the next day 6:00 am)
Jeju (6:30 am) → Busan ( 7:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
No ferry service on Sundays.
Busan City expects that the resumed service will be very convenient for group travelers and those who travel by car and will also ease freight congestion between Busan and Jeju.
