Official poster of the Busan Biennale 2010 unveiled.

The official 2010 Busan Biennale poster and emblem have been unveiled. The 2010 Busan Biennale will be held from September 11 until November 20 at Busan’s Museum of Modern Art, as well as at the nearby Yachting Center (Suyeong Marina) and Gwangalli Beach, under the theme of ‘Living in Evolution’.

 

Based on the theme ‘Living in Evolution’, the poster and emblem feature figures that represent living things in nature, ancient murals, and humans and their tools, expressing a diverse and chaotic image to show the weightiness of the theme.

 

The graphic designer, Lee Pooroni, was commissioned to make the poster and emblem over a period of two months, from December 2009, and the Steering Committee for the Busan Biennale 2010 confirmed the selection of her poster and emblem in January 2010.
