The 10 Minute Open Plays has been an integral part of the 2010 Busan International Performing Arts Festival since 2006. This unique experience allows the audience to become an active part of the presentation. The purpose of this session is to bring the audience closer to the performing world in a fun and interactive setting. We welcome all those who share a love for the performing arts to join us. Those who choose to showcase their hidden talents will be able to do so in a boundary-free environment. We are hoping that people who have dreamed of becoming performers will apply for this session. A creative and passionate group of people will surely make for an inspirational and memorable experience.
The competition will be divided into 3 segments according to different age groups. Awards will also be presented to the winners of each segment.
1. Introduction of the 10 Minute Open Plays
Ideas for this presentation can come from your daily lives, past and present experiences and any creative ideas you wish to share. These performances may include theater, conte, mime or any other theatrical methods. The awards ceremony will be held upon the completion of the final round.
2. Qualifications for Applicants
Everyone is encouraged to apply.
1) The Young Group: Kindergarten children ~ High School students
2) The University Students Group: University students or University Theater Club members
3) The Adults Group: Adults

* 5 Groups will be selected from each segment to go forward to the final round.
