Busan City launched a website for multicultural families, ‘Multicultural Happy Sketching’ at http://multi.busan.go.kr on January 6. The website provides general information on daily life – medical services, education, transportation and welfare facilities - and various support policies from multicultural family support agencies in four foreign languages including English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino.

 

The education section introduces Korean language courses, online materials and links to Korean language learning institutions. The website also offers easy access to government websites and five multicultural support centers in Nam-gu, Sasang-gu, Saha-gu, Gijang-gun and Buk-gu.

 

In addition, multicultural families can communicate on various topics such as their experience, support and volunteer activities through the bulletin board in the Community section.
