Looking for foreign volunteers in World Cultural Class

The Busan Foundation for International Activities, or BFIA, is looking for foreign volunteers to teach classes of the "World Cultural Class" program. The volunteers will work as lecturers and instruct Busan citizens on the culture of their respective countries. Each country program is comprised of 10 weekly classes from Feb 22 to May 2 and the classes will be held at the Continuing Education Institute, on the Yangjeong Campus of Dongseo University. The volunteers will be paid 20,000 won for each of their ten classes. Applications are accepted from Dec 28 to Jan 15.

 

* Qualifications

- Anyone interested in introducing their own culture.

- Good communication skill in either Korean or English.

- Computer skills (to prepare interesting powerpoint slides and handouts for the class).

 

* Support
- Certificate of Instruction
- 20,000 won for each class (1.5hour/class)
- All class materials will be supported.
