Busan City and the Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) will launch a ‘Korea Pass Busan Tourism Card’ at the end of January to improve tourists’ service and convenience.

The Korea Pass Busan Tourism Card is a prepaid tourism card which comes with a free tourist guide to Busan and a variety of discounts at 369 stores in Busan-based tourism-related businesses and more than 60 nationwide tourist attractions, shopping areas, restaurants and entertainment venues. It is issued and managed on behalf of Busan City and the KTO by Lotte Card Co., Ltd. Korea Pass Busan Tourism cards can be used like credit cards and can also be integrated with a transportation card. The cards can be purchased, refunded or recharged conveniently at Gimhae International Airport, the International Passenger Terminal, convenience stores and overseas tourist agencies.

In addition, the City plans to develop the integrated tourism card with Fukuoka and Osaka in Japan at their request.

A city official said, “The launching of the Korea Pass Busan Tourism card will contribute tremendously to promote Busan as an international tourism city in Northeast Asia but also to attract more foreign tourists and improve Busan’s tourism brand awareness.”
