Performance time change for ‘Regular Saturday Performance at Busan Cultural Center’

The regular performance time at Busan Cultural Center, every Saturday at 4 p.m., has been changed to every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. since the beginning of 2011.

 

To provide cultural experiences for all citizens of Busan, and for visiting tourists and Busan’s young people in particular, Busan Cultural Center has been holding regular free performances every Saturday all year round since March 1992.  These traditional Korean music and dance performances have steadily gained popularity among youths and families.

 

The time change has been made to avoid scheduling difficulties with the Saturday Regular Performance of Korean Music & Dance at the National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts in Busan at 4 p.m. so as to provide more opportunities for a variety of cultural performance programs to domestic and international tourists visiting Busan.

 

An official of Busan Cultural Center said, “We will do our best to invigorate the regional cultural art scene by continuing to hold these valuable art performances.”
