Busan City is busy selling products produced in Busan and attracting foreign investment in June. The City plans to dispatch an “Overseas Market Pioneer Team” as much as four times in July alone and participate in Korea-China-Japan Industrial Fair 2007.

As part of an Overseas Market Pioneer Team Dispatch Program, Busan City is going to send 42 local companies to several areas in East Europe and China including Guangzhou, in which they will hold export consultations with buyers with the support of Busan Metropolitan City and Busan Trade Center of KOTRA.

The program also includes the participation of nine local companies in Korea-China-Japan Industrial Fair 2007, which will be held in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do from June 13 to 16. The Fair will provide participants with opportunities to advance into the overseas market.

City government will pay half of air fare, help the companies find buyers and do market research, offer interpreting service fee, etc. And it will work with Busan Trade Center of KOTRA and Busan office of Korea International Trade Association to promote the sales of locally manufactured products.
