The City of Busan has established a Foreign Student Support Center to assist the more than 6,000 foreign students in the city.
The center is located in the Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA). Current support programs offered by BFIA will be expanded to provide professional support, and the center also plans to introduce new services in the future.
The center aims to help foreign students adjust to life in Busan by providing valuable information about the city, Korea and its culture, and their studies that they can use in their daily lives. The center also operates cultural programs and offers career support.
The City of Busan plans to foster talented foreign students by offering scholarships and career support with Korean companies, and by creating a vibrant foreign student network.
