2010 Interagency Consultation Service for Foreign Residents to be held in Busan

The Korea Immigration Service is to hold an interagency consultation session to help foreign residents better adjust to Korean society.


A wide variety of consultation services – on acquiring citizenship, children’s education, learning Korean, medical services and employment – will be offered to participating foreign residents. In addition, free health checkups and cultural events are scheduled. Free gifts will be given to the participants.   

 
Date & Time: Saturday, November 6, 2010. 10 a.m. ~ 5 p.m.

Venue: Hyomin Gymnasium, Dong-Eui University

   - Get off at Dong-eui Station (Exit No. 5), Subway Line No. 1, and take the free No. 6-1 bus that circles the university campus.

Qualification: foreign workers, foreign students and those who are married to Koreans

Participating Central Government Agencies: Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Public Administration and Security; Ministry of Employment and Labor, Ministry of Gender Equality & Family; Korean Bar Association.

Consulting Services: On acquiring Korean citizenship, children’s education, learning Korean, medical services, and employment

Free Consultation: Free health and dental checkups, legal advice

Cultural Events: Namsan Nori Madang pan-gut(a Korean folk music tradition), World traditional dance and music performances and others
