Haeundae-gu District has built a new 7.8-km wooden walking path from Mipo in Haeundae to Songjeong Beach. Now, Busan citizens and tourists can walk along Dalmaji Hill safely and conveniently while enjoying the magnificent sea view.
The Dalmaji Hill area is a popular spot: art galleries and fine restaurants are concentrated around Dalmaji Hill. The Dalmaji Art Flea Market is open every Saturday and Sunday from 2-9 p.m. at Haewoljeong Pavilion. Market visitors can also take a stroll in the forest along Moontan Road (2.2 km) to breath fresh air, listen to the surf, and admire the beautiful seascape.
An information board for GalMaetGil and HaeparangGil walking trails has been installed at the Dalmaji Hill boardwalk trailhead as well.
To celebrate the opening of the boardwalk, the Dalmajigil International Walking Festival is scheduled for April 6th.
