The Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute announced that Forest Log House opened to the public on February 18, 2013. The new Forest Log House will offer a place where people can relax in nature in the City.
Forest Log House consists of two houses with 18 persons capacity and another two houses with 32 persons capacity, plus a management office. You can reserve a log house at the Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute website http://youth.busan.go.kr (Currently only in Korean). The accommodation fees are 90,000 won and 160,000 won during weekdays.
Check-in is at 1 p.m. Checkout is at 10 a.m. Each house is equipped with bedclothes, television, refrigerator, kitchen, and bathroom. The log houseguests can also participate in various programs including sports climbing, observing stars, making pottery, and learning tea etiquette, which the Youth Center offers.
With opening of the Forest Log House, the Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute can accommodate a total of 400 people including current accommodation facility (21 rooms with a total 300 persons capacity).
An official of the Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute said, “We expect that people will love the new Forest Log House located in Mt. Geumnyeon, which has beautiful natural scenery that changes with the seasons”
And he added, “We will make our best effort to provide visitors with a comfortable and convenient place to stay.”
