Support for foreign communities in Busan through provision of Support Fund

Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA) is eager to revitalize the activities of the city's foreigner communities and to help support events, festivals and exhibitions for foreigners and local citizens alike.

 

Communities of foreigners in Busan can be given a limited amount of funds to be used for the holding of international exchange events, cultural performances, exhibitions and festivals through the BFIA. BFIA has so far supported 29 events by 24 communities such as national communities of Mongolia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar, traditional cultural festivals by international students, New Year festivals, photo exhibitions and volunteer events.

 

Applications to the Support Fund are via the BFIA website (http://www.bfia.or.kr/), where you can find an application form, and an explanation on the kinds of possible activities. Support will be given once an application has been considered by the BFIA.
