Road brings Jeonggwan New Town within easy reach

Busan Gijang County Jeonggwan New Town is now closer with the opening of the Huijeongno entrance road (the former Jeonggwan Industrial Complex entrance road).

Busan City held the opening ceremony for the road at the front of the Gomnae Tunnel of Jeonggwan New Town on Oct. 21. Huijeongno is a 13.5-kilometer road with four lanes that connects the city highway at the Huidong Intersection with Jeonggwan New Town.

Busan City started construction in April 2005 and spent 376.7 billion won ($326 million) on the project.
