Transportation card recharging machines now accept 50,000 won bills at all subway stations in Busan. Coins and bills may both be used to recharge transportation cards.

 

Busan Transportation Corporation had already upgraded the recharging machines at all stations on Subway Lines 2 and 3 in June 2009, making Busan the first city to do so among all the urban transportation management agencies in the nation. This service has now been extended to all stations on Subway Line 1, one month earlier than planned.
