The support center will provide various living information to let the foreigners know how to live in Busan, and in the center, there will be ‘help desk’ for giving information and ‘internet café’ for using free internet service and free international telephone call and also there will be some place for foreign residents to have exhibition or plays and share their information.
Busan will have a conference with Busan Jun-gu Office to make specific construction plan by June and complete to build by October.
Currently, number of foreigners in Busan is 23,000 and, if illegal residents and visitors are added, the number will be more than 30,000.
An official from Busan said that “there are some places to provide services for foreigners, but we will establish support center to help foreigners in many ways.”
The support center will be located at the intersection of the line number one and two, and department store, hotel and other convenient facilities are near the place.
