Health Promotion Center opened in Haeundae-gu District

The new Health Promotion Center opened in June 1. The three-storey facility, covering a 4,163㎡site, is located in Bansong-dong, Haeundae-gu. Facilities include a swimming pool, a fitness center and an aerobics room.

The Health Promotion Center, located right next to Bansong Community Health Center, which is the biggest community health center in the country, will provide various health services to local residents in partnership with the community health center.

Haeundae-gu District held a Completion Ceremony in May 18 to celebrate this facility, which has been built at a cost of 58 billion won (with national and city budget contributions of 30 billion won and the local district providing the remaining 28 billion won) and a trial operation and membership registration period followed until the end of May. The center officially opened on June 1 and is to be managed by the Busan Sports and Leisure Center.
