Dynamic Busan Flower Festival to be held from May 1 until 5.

Dynamic Busan Flower Festival will be held from May 1 until May 5 at APEC Naru Park, Haeundae.
Under the title, “Busan fills with the scent of flowers”, the APEC Naru Park along the Suyeong River will be decorated with various shapes of flower sculptures and gardens, and a wide variety of floricultural products, including wild flowers, flower decorations, dwarf trees and flower plants will be displayed along the main walking path.

 

In addition, visitors can join various activities including flower decorating, flower pressing, topiary and potpourri. Also, flowering plants will be for sale at very reasonable prices.

 

Especially, two garden-making events will be held, by children from Busan and Fukuoka as part of a Busan-Fukuoka Children’s Exchange project and by the physically challenged as a form of rehabilitative treatment for them.

 

One of the positive effects of the event is that Busan City is expected to be able to accelerate the development of Centum City in Haeundae, and another is that it will help to promote the ongoing greening of Busan City. Next year’s event will be an even bigger event held at Seokdae Tree Nursery.  

The APEC Naru Park is just 10 minutes walk from Centum City Station on Subway Line 2. The small parking lot there will be closed during the festival period to encourage people to use public transport when they visit the venue.
