It is expected that the world’s major entrepreneurs’ CEO and those in Busan have established a cooperation liaison body for direct exchanges and will give a good momentum to develop Busan economic development.

Busan entrepreneurs will create mutual networks with 600 CEO of the world’s major firms. They will assemble together in APEC CEO to be held in Busan Lotte Hotel from November 11 through 19. This is the APEC CEO Summit 2005.

Vice-President Park Yong-oh of the Korea Economy Federation and currently APEC CEO Summit 2005 visited Busan Mayor Hur Nam-sik on April 21 and discussed how to enhance Busan brand through APEC CEO Summit 2005. He demanded Mayor Hur to secure hotels and experts for APEC conferences. Mayor Hur asked him that Busan entrepreneurs hoping to open exchanges with APEC countries can create practical networks and APEC member countries will further invest in Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Development Zone. This is the largest multilateral economic forum proposed by the Korea Economy Federation in which the world’s major CEO will take part. The Korea Economy Federation is scheduled to select Busan-based enterprises hoping to exchange by enterprise or groups.
