Busan Towards Northeast Asian Financial Hub

The Korea Future Stock Markets Authority, which held its foundation general assembly, decided to establish Busan City as a Northeast Asian financial hub. The authority passed its regulations with related many officials attended. The authority is scheduled to officially start on January 27th President Lee Yong-tack of the authority said, “I will build Busan as a hub city of future stock markets and strengthen international cooperation for this goal.” He also said, “I plan to develop Busan as a maritime and financial city in cooperation with Busan City and the Jinhea Free Economic Zone Authority.” On the other hand, he said, “ 150 persons more will work in the management-supporting department as residents, in addition to those of the Korea Future Stock Markets Authority.
