Busan Families Offered Discounts on Hyundai Cars

Residents of Busan with a new baby in the family, or with one on the way, can qualify for discounts of up to W500,000 (US$1=W926) on Hyundai cars. The city of Busan reached a deal with Hyundai Motor on Monday to offer discounts on cars to households with new mothers or expecting mothers.

The discounts are adjusted according to the number of children in the household. For the first baby, Busan residents get a discount of W100,000, for the second baby the discount is W300,000 and for the third its W500,000. Taxis, trucks and buses are excluded from the discount.
