The Gwangan Bridge Walk, on May 2.

To draw attention to and let the world appreciate the beauty of Busan’s coastal landscape and the Gwangan Bridge or Diamond Bridge, a citizens’ walking festival will be held on Gwangan Bridge on May 2.

 

“Walking the Diamond Bridge”, co-hosted by Kookje Newspaper and KNN, will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, starting from BEXCO and going via Gwangan Bridge to the main playground in Pukyeong University, a distance of 7.3km.

 

Various side events, including an orchestral performance on Gwangan Bridge, a dance performance, a magic pantomime and face painting at Pukyong University, as well as a prize draw, will be held.  

 

Online registration is available at http://www.kookjetrail.com (Currently only in Korean).

The first 12,000 applicants will be accepted, for a fee of 5,000 won each.
