A medium sized domestic company has made toy planes and sold over 3.5 million. Hize Aero invested 2.7 billion won on research and development and recently made an automatic starting toy plane, ‘Aero-X’.

The average price per toy is about $15 and up to now they have sold 3.5 million planes at big markets and toy stores in U.S.A, U.K and Japan, 25 countries in total. Aero-X’s main plane body is manufactured of special material and using a motor, without the help of outside air currents, is capable of flying freely for over for 30 seconds maximum on it’s own propulsive force. Outdoor Aero-X can fly for up to 3 minutes. The head of research center of Hize Aero says that though Aero X is a toy it is the result of three years’ study and is a hi-tech product based on high level manufacturing skills.

Aero-X went on sale last week at Sinsegae E-mart and Samsung Tesco Home-plus, at a price of 15 thousand won each.
