Busan, Tourism and Shopping Haven in 2013

Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam announced the Visit Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam Year 2013 on February 1 at BEXCO.  The two cities and the province attract foreign visitors for tourism and shopping throughout the year 2013.

 

Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam jointly provide various city policies for foreign tourists to have comfortable accommodations while pleasantly touring and shopping.

 

The following are some of major event projects you can enjoy in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam in 2013. 

 

K-shuttle the foreigner-exclusive shuttle bus will regularly travel from Seoul to Busan starting from March. The K-shuttle tour courses vary via Gyeongju, Andong, Gangneung and other local cities along with Busan.    

 

BUGs-TRAIN, the tourism themed train, which travels Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam will be operated every Friday with one day, three nights program starting at the end of March. The train will stop in every major station in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. Tourists will be able to visit major attractions in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam, and enjoy local festivals.


Coastal cruise departing from Busan, travelling through Tongyeong and Yeosu in Gyeongnam will revitalize cruise tourism in the region. The Busan City Cruise will also be popular for foreign tourists as well. 

 

Busan Grand Sale for foreign tourists will be held from September 1 through October 7 for 37 days at major tourist attractions, department stores, shopping centers, hotels and restaurants in Busan.

 

In addition, Busan is participating in the 2013 Korea Grand Sale, which will continue until February 28 nationwide.
