Book filled with unique delicacies hits shelves
A book with information on Haeundae’s unique delicacies has been published.
Haeundae-gu District has published the “Joy of Tasting at Haeundae-Unique Delicacies,” a 168-page book to promote Haeundae cuisine to tourists visiting the world-famous city.
There are five famous restaurants in Haeundae, 10 foods that are good to eat in Haeundae, 10 uniquely themed restaurants, 29 foreign restaurants, 10 tasty places on the street and five unique foods to bring from Haeundae listed in the book. There is also information on tasty restaurants representing different regions.
But the useful publication is not limited to restaurants or to Busan’s delicious food. To assist travelers, maps and FOR&B-TEL accommodations as well as hotels are also listed. The district will distribute the book at hotels and other places of accommodation so tourists can use it. Cover of “Unique Delicacies”
It will also be available at the Haeundae Beach front tourist information center and the Environmental Health Division (051-749-4411) at no cost. An official from the district said, “We hope that foreigners understand the area well and enjoy local delicacies using this publication.”
