More corporations move into Mieum Industrial Complex - Swiss company 'Burckhardt' factory completed

'Burckhardt Compression' is a new arrival in the foreign investment zone for material industries at Mieum, in the BJFEZ, after an opening ceremony that took place on November 12. 'Burckhardt Compression' is a global enterprise with sales of 500 million dollars in 2013. Its main product, a reciprocal oscillating compressor, is an essential piece of equipment for maritime plant and gas carrier and has been exported to 80 different nations. Its Busan factory occupies a 10,000 m2 site, and was built with an investment of 20 million dollars. The Busan factory of 'Burckhardt Compression' will enhance the competitiveness of the local component and material industries and help to activate the domestic maritime and shipbuilding industries as well. Moreover, it is expected to create 50 good jobs as well as indirect employment opportunities for local subcontractors.
