The government will publish a booklet introducing documents, consultations with concerned authorities and other things needed in each development stage, when a developer takes part in projects within the country's free economic zones (FEZs), the Ministry of Finance and Economy said Sunday (Dec. 24).
The Free Economic Zone Planning Office of the ministry said that it will distribute the manual to provincial governments, regional free economic zone authorities and developers.
The manual introduces procedure of development by type such as housing complex, industrial complex, tourism complex and distribution complex, in detail.
In particular, the booklet is based on actual case studies done in Hwayang zone in Gwangyang Bay, Cheongna and Unbuk zone in Incheon, and Hwajeon zone in Busan.
The booklet will help developers cut construction periods and clearly understand all the procedures of the projects at the FEZ.
