A Program to let foreign crew feel Busan is going to be conducted on a regular basis. BPA announced on September 6th that it will conduct “Busan Tour for Seafarers” program on every first and third Friday for the foreign crew calling at Busan Port’s container terminals from this month on.

The program is prepared for the crew to feel and enjoy Busan during a stay in Busan. And it is expected to contribute to raising port’s image. Using the program, BPA will introduce its roles and responsibilities as the port’s development, maintenance and operation player. The program is also anticipated to help vitalize local economy by providing foreign seafarers for shopping opportunity.

Participants will look around Gwangan Bridge, Beomeo Temple and Geumgang Park on every first Friday and Nurimaru APEC House, Dalmaji (Moon-viewing) Hill and shopping centers on every third Friday, taking a shuttle bus at a container terminal they call at.

An official of BPA said that the program goes into service on first and third Fridays when the most container ships anchor at the port, adding that if response from the crew is positive, BPA will expand the program to other day of the week.
