City of Busan to Participate in Automechanika Frankfurt 2014 to Promote Eco-Delta City Establishment Project

The City of Busan announced that it participated in the ‘Automechanika Frankfurt 2014’ being held in Frankfurt, Germany from September 16 - 20 for five days to promote the Eco Delta City Establishment Project, one of the West Busan Global City Establishment Projects, and attract foreign companies to Busan.Through marketing with the Korea Water Resources Corporation, the City of Busan will actively engage in attracting global foreign companies to Busan and promote the Eco-Delta City Establishment Project as a growth engine for the city’s future.
Busan received approval for the execution plan of the Eco-Delta City Establishment Project from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on September 5, 2014. Bidding for construction rights is planned for September with work scheduled to begin this December. Construction on the Eco-Delta City is expected to be completed by 2018.
