Nakdonggang River Eco Tour into Nature
There is now another reason to come to the city of Busan; and it’s the Nakdonggang River Eco Tour. Under the slogan, ‘Nakdonggang River Eco Tour into Nature’, visitors can experience a beautiful, scenic ride along the Nakdonggang River and enjoy a new side of the city.
In the same way that the Busan City Tour Bus treats visitors to various tourist routes throughout the city, this eco boat tour offers people the chance to get an up close look at this special riverway, full of natural beauty and famous as being a habitat for migratory birds.
The Nakdonggang River Eco Tour boat weighs 19.9 t and measures 4.3 m wide and 18.8 m in length. It can accommodate 33 people (30 passengers, 3 staff) and 10 bicycles. It moves at 10 knots (18km/h) on average and uses only renewable sources of energy including solar and wind power. An accompanying culture guide will educate visitors to the interesting culture and history of the Nakdonggang River.
You can take Nakdonggang River Eco Boat Tours twice a day, five days a week, excluding Mondays and Tuesdays. From April to October, the tour operates between Eulsukdo Island Dock and Hwamyeong Dock (Mulgeum Hwangsan Park). Due to migratory bird patterns, from November to March, it operates between Hwamyeong Dock and Mulgeum Hwangsan Park.
