The Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA) will hold the '9th Global Gathering' at the Busan Citizens Park from 10 am to 5 pm on Oct. 8. The Global Gathering is the biggest annual event hosted by the BFIA, which brings together people from all over the world to experience diverse cultures.
The event attracts thousands of people every year by providing various things to see, including cultural promotion booths displaying traditional costumes and food, domestic and foreign performances, and participation programs for locals and foreigners.
This year, the Global Gathering will be held in Busan Citizens Park's Dasom Yard, which opened in May, and not at Haeundae APEC Naru Park where it used to be held. This year there will be even more diverse programs and participation events at which 94 of organizations and domestic & sister city performance groups will participate.
