Busan City’s Mt. Geumjeong Administration Team has formed a Mounted Patrol to operate until May to guard against forest fires on Mt. Geumjeong. The team will also no doubt prove to be one of the attractions for hikers.

The Mounted Patrol is assigned to patrol the 9.6 km stretch of Mt. Geumjeong from the North Gate to the 1st watchtower, via the East Gate and South Gate, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, the Administration Team has opened a temporary clinic at the guard post on Sanseong Hill, Mt. Geumjeong for injured hikers. Blood pressure measurement equipment is also available.
