The Bank of Korea's Busan Brach plans to give support to Busan's 5 strategic industries including port transportation, parts and materials, tourism and convention, film and visual art, futures and finance industries by opening its C2 fund window to the film-visual art, and parts-materials industries.

The two industries have so far been excluded from the bank's C2 fund window. The C2 fund is directed to commercial banks that make loans to the qualified borrowers and matches 50 percent of the commercial bank loans.

The qualified borrowers now include venture companies, newly created small and medium enterprises (SMEs), SME exporters, companies recommended by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA), and such parts and materials manufactures for the automobile, shipbuilding and machinery companies as designated by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE).
