Sister cities visit for IT training

Some of Busan’s sister cities visited last month to learn about advanced IT systems. The Busan Foundation for International Activities or BFIA and local officials invited IT representatives from cities in nearly a dozen countries - including Shanghai; Barcelona; Ho Chi Minh City ？ to visit from July 20 - 28.
The idea was to promote Busan’s advanced IT technology abroad and at the same time foster intimate relationships with the sister cities.
The training and related programs in English, held at KT’s Busan District headquarters at Beomil-dong, Dong-gu District, centered around areas such as Internet service, beam transmission systems and the future of IT service.
