Electronic Wristlet Rental Service for Children at Haeundae Beach

To prevent children from getting lost at crowded beaches during the summer, a free electronic wristlet rental service will start at Haeundae Beach, from July 1 until August 31, 2009. This service uses ubiquitous electronic technology. The registered child’s identity as well as the contact number of child’s guardian will be saved on the RFID chip embedded in the wristlet.

How to rent an electronic wristlet:

1. Fill out the application form at the tourist information center, Haundae Beach

2. Submit your valid identification and 10,000 won deposit

3. Receive an electronic wristlet and use it for the day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

4. Return the electron wristlet and get back your ID and deposit.
