Busan Metropolitan City Wins the
Grand Prize

The Busan Metropolitan City was chosen as the best government agency in the Customer Service Innovation Leadership Section of 2006 Korea Customer Satisfaction Management Award.

The Korea CSM Award, which is the highest award given for customer satisfaction, is given to a company and an institute which had excellent CSM achievement each year since 1993 to improve business competitiveness which highly values customer satisfaction.

The awarded institute for the 2006 Korea CSM has been selected among 65 companies processed by step #1 Documentation, step #2 On-site Examination and step #3 Overall Examination.

The Busan Metropolitan government achieved the grand prize as a result of on-site public administration which endeavors to find and solve citizen and companies requests based on the CS management philosophies which are “The standard of public administration is citizens” and efficient and effective administration.

The Busan Metropolitan government is building an innovation system focused on the customer and its performance as world's best practice in a public administration system. The system consists of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Performance Administration System, Business Administration System and is planned to be implemented next January.

Using the integrated system, the Busan Metropolitan government will continue to endeavor to focus on customer based service to satisfy and impress citizens.
