Busan Cup Women’s International Match Race concludes thrilling season

The Busan Cup Women’s International Match Race 2015 was held on the sea off Dongbaekseom Island, Haeundae October 27th–November 1st.

 

The only Grade 1 Women's Match Race regatta in Asia attracted top sailors from around the world to our vibrant city. The event was hosted by Busan Metropolitan City, organized by the Busan Sailing Federation and the Women's International Match Racing Association, and supported by ISAF. 

 

Sixty sailors in 12 teams from 9 countries, including the world’s leading female match racers, competed for the rich prize pool of US$ 100,000 this year.  

 

The Busan Cup Women's International Match Race was the final event of the Women’s International Match Racing Series (WIM Series). The 2015 WIM Series consisted of four events with four different winners.
