Saemteo Park in Saha-gu won the Good Place award on October 5th.The award presented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korean Institute of Architects aims to find good places that residents enjoy in their communities.Saemteo Park's 650-year-old pagoda tree has been the village’s guardian tree. The traditional washing area under the tree has been restored. The award went to the Park, with its history and ecological environment, for its revival of the resident community.
