The U.S. Embassy in Seoul opened its first ``Virtual Presence Post'' in the southeastern city of Busan, on Jan. 29, the embassy said in a statement on Thursday.
People in Busan will find useful information at http://busan.usvpp.gov about U.S. visa applications, American business partnerships, educational institutions and opportunities in the United States, and U.S.-Korea relations.
``It will facilitate communication and understanding between the United States and the people of the area in order to enhance our already strong and important relationship,'' the statement said.
Americans interested in Busan will also find a host of useful links to government sources on information, business and commerce, and U.S. citizen services the statement said.
