BFIA runs counseling center for foreigners
Starting in March, Busan Foundation for International Activities or BFIA will operate the Foreigners’ Assistance Office by renovating the existing foreign support center on the first floor of the City Hall.
The office will provide living, legal and administrative counsels to help solve grievances held by foreign students, marriage immigrants, teachers and laborers as well as provide diverse living information.
The consultation will be made in four languages - English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Indonesian - with the help of foreign supporters.
English and Chinese consultations are available between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday, while Vietnamese and Indonesian consultations are available between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. twice a week.
Foreign residents seeking consultation can visit the office or call 051-888-6655. The office will also keep various foreign books and tourism guides on Busan.
